I bought this washer and matching dyer less than a month ago. Big mistake I would give it a zero if I could. It doesnt matter what setting you wash your clothes on the spin cycle will stretch them out and wrinkle them. The spin cycle is so hard even on the lowest setting that clothes just ball up and wrinkle. The matching dryer doesnt make it any better. Steaming and ironing doesnt even remove the wrinkles. Do not purchase.

I purchased this wonderful washer in Mayafter many months of dealing with a washer that was in a home we purchased in early 2022. No one wants to replace large appliances that you use almost daily but as time went on it was obvious that the washer wasnt cleaning properly or rinsing the water out of the laundry. It was taking twice as long to dry the laundry. Thought we would have to replace the dryer as it was working overtime. So we researched online and decided to purchase the LG washer. All I can say is I love my LG washer. Life is good now. My dryer isnt working as hard and if I ever have to replace my dryer Ill be purchasing an LG. Its easy to operate and I love the see thru lid and how it closes slowly with a simple touch.

Had front loaders for years.. when ours finally died we went out looking. We didnt want a front loader mostly due to our clothes started not smelling as fresh it seemed like we always had to run a cleaning cycle every week. The thing broke down on us many times. We saw the LG line of top loader and they were bigger with what seemed less electronics and buttons for everything we wanted simple and reliable thats why we bought our LG and it has been great Clothes smell much better uses less water and in all seriousness our clothes our cleaner The only regret we have is we should have bought one years ago LG makes great products and Im glad we finally got one

This washer is a terrible design It has multiple settings but WILL NOT fill with enough water to cover clothes on any setting except Deep Fill. The agitator barely moves and the clothes just sit in one spot never moving much in the machine. It basically just soaks your clothes and soapy water. We have had a technician out twice and the last time he came out he said it unfortunately was a poor design and would not work any differently. DO NOT BUY THIS WASHER

This is a great machine and is quite responsive in experienced hands. However we had to thoroughly read and re-read the Owners Manual to finally understand that in spite of the washers High Efficiency features and settings prevention of cotton clothing wrinkling can ONLY be accomplished by adding one Extra Rinse or employing the Deep Wash setting. LG might consider adding a section in the Manual under Wrinkling that addresses this or any other recommendations you might make in your video tutorials -- when washing in the basement we dont have the luxury to consult a phone or laptop to see your videos We would also like a Manual reference section specific to Energy Consumption and how to maximize results while using the least amount of electricity and water. Included in this section could be tips on what to do if the best results arent achieved e.g. wrinkling items dont appear as clean etc. Again if this is covered clearly in a video it might not reach the less digitally-inclined customers unless you direct them to it. We also give 5 Stars to the Customer Service phone reps but more concise written instructions would minimize how often they need to be called.

This machine either uses too little or too much water. It senses the load size on normal wash but all the clothes dont get wet. Using deep clean then uses way too much water. I cant tell you the amount of time spent watching through the window to be sure its washing right. Then pause to push the clothes down restart..ugh frustrating It also hardly agitates. I dont want it to beat my clothes but it just lightly sloshes them a bit back and forever. The little drawer for detergent and softener ends up with water sitting so we have to be sure to empty it after so it doesnt start to smell. It would be nice if that drained properly.

Have had this washer not quite a year. Pros: Water efficiency is good its cute looking and makes the little melody sounds when it turns on and overall not super loud when its running Cons: Not enough control over what kinds of washes you want to do--theres a shorter cycle but youre limited to a warm or cold wash for instance. And you cant put in a small load if you dont put in enough things it easily gets out of balance and does an error message and/or gets stuck on the spin cycle or something. And theres no middle ground for cycle selection either. Theres the short one or super long ones. I had no idea there would be so little control didnt occur to me from many positive reviews.. I sorely regret getting this machine and wish that repairs had not been priced out of this world and could have just kept old machine. the 80s/90s which just did what you needed. And I dont like that you cant open it up to add something without restarting the whole cycle. Maybe I missed something there but anyway I have been flummoxed at working the controls on it especially at first didnt find them very intuitive. Directions not good surprise surprise. Also I cant get the app to work which would be helpful. Save me a lot of trips up and down two flights of stairs to see if the darn thing turned off because I didnt load enough stuff in it.

The top load washer will stop an off balance spin and refill to try to float a new balance spin. If that does not work it will repeat the refill over and over again running indefinitely wasting water and possibly an electrical issue. One can not leave machine unattended

I bought this June 2022 when I bought my first home. It has worked great up until three weeks ago when it flooded my entire downstairs. The sensor that is supposed to stop the water just stopped working. Had I not been home my Well would be dryed up and my entire downstairs would need new walls. I had recently started putting a new floor down which will now have to be ripped up so I can make sure it is dry underneath and no mold forms. LG said there was nothing they could do about that. I waited almost a week for my appointment in which he told me I needed a new part replaced. Then waited for the part for a few days and had to schedule a second appointment. It is now fixed but honestly after owning for just shy of a year Im disappointed in the machine and the lack of care about what it did to my downstairs.

Washer is top load which fits our laundry room and lifestyle. Agitator moves water around and through clothes better than without an agitator. Does a good cleaning job

Probably have done about 20 loads. Took some time to get use to the mechnical noises it makes. There should be a button to add more water since it always looks like there is not enough or too much when you do a deep wash. Also seems like excessive vibration even after a service guy came out and raised one of the legs. Additionally it is hard to get it to spin smooth without the drum bouncing around with all kinds of loads light/heavy. It requires you to hang around and rearrange the load quite often. Lastly while the digital timer shows one minute left it can keep spinning for more than 5 minutes.

This is the worse wash machine i have ever owned. Doesnt use enough water I have stains on my clothes. Does not spin if item weighs too much like a blanket. Sorry I purchased it. I called LG and they were no help

Good top loader but unable to lift lid to soak

Have had this appliance for 3 months. Overall work well but since its a top loader thought I would be able to lift the lid and soak my clothes.. Also the only cycle that uses hot water is clean tub.
