It seems to do a good job cleaning the dishes, it's far quieter than my previous washer, 9also a Bosch). the third rack for silverware is a nice feature. My only complaint so far is that when the red light is flashing it doesn't give you any information about why it is unhappy. took me a while to figure it out and clear it.

Dishwasher worked for 8 months then washer pump needed to be replaced. Dishwasher stopped working in December and was not repaired until February due to lack of Bosch technicians in my area and the service rep at the 800 number did not offer to schedule a local technician handle it. After several phone calls on my part I was able to schedule the repair.

If I could give it zero stars I would. It doesn't dry dishes (even on extra dry and with rinse aid). It often glitches and gets stuck on one setting and we have to unplug it for 5 minutes to reset. We've only had it 5 months and it has done this multiple times. This is in line with my experiences with the other Bosch appliances we purchased. Our range has been broken for half the time we've owned it. We've been waiting over two months for approval on a replacement. I wouldn't recommend ANY Bosch product.

Worst dishwasher I have ever had. Had to have it serviced multiple times and I still have to hand dry my dishes. I was told I have to run hot water in my sink before I wash my dishes so that there is warm water in the dishwasher, stupid. There is so much plastic inside the product that water is dripping everywhere when it's open. The drying element was changed which didn't fix it. I have never had a dishwasher that I had to dry everything to put it away . If I have to waste hot water to prime my dishes, and they don't dry... then why do I need your product? Hand washing is quicker.

The Bosch 300 series cleans beautifully. It is quiet and has the right number of controls and options without overwhelming choices. I specifically purchased the model with a third tray for cutlery and am happy I did. Also, after watching the Bosch videos and reading online guidance, I started washing my wine glasses in the dishwasher. I worried that the glass would be etched. Yet, when washing the wine glasses, I am judicious using rinse aid and do not use the high temperature sanitize cycle. The wine glasses come out spot free and sparkling.

Everything about this dishwasher makes sense! From the red light indicator that shines down onto the floor, to the spacious interior and simple interface. Even the installation is better than other dishwashers because you can adjust the height of the rear legs from the front! It's clear that Bosch has really thought about how to solve actual problems with other dishwashers. I love this dishwasher and If I replace it, it'll be with another Bosch dishwasher.

Hating my new dishwasher

My new dishwasher has a consistent moldy odor. The dishes and especially the glasses smell after running the dishwasher on the longest hottest cycle. After 6 uses, I was begging my husband to pull my 20y.o. Bosch out of the trash and re install it. I've tried everything, cleaning the filter (I only used the dishwasher for small loads, a dozen times,!), commercial dishwasher cleaner, baking soda and vinegar, various name brand dishwasher detergent pods and powders during cycles. I'm mad. 1200$ and it wasn't worth it if my dishes and glasses don't smell clean. I have a 700$ Lowe's Bosch model at my other house that is much nicer. The controls on my 1200$ one are the worst! I also don't need an app to run my dishwasher! It's all too complicated. Cut out the nonsense and just make a utilitarian product that works.

Cleans well quiet Racks leave something to be desired. They dont fit alot. Doesn't dry plastic even with extra dry function. Its a pain to do the extra settings you either have to enter a 90s video game cheat code or use the app and the wifi connection isn't simple either. Keep it simple

I absolutely love my Bosch dishwasher! It's so quiet that half the time I forget it's even on. Everything comes out sparkling clean-no more having to rewash glasses or scrub off food stuck to plates. The racks are super flexible, which makes it easy to fit in bigger pans and random dishes. I also love that it uses less water and energy, so it feels good knowing it's efficient too. Overall, it just makes life so much easier. If you're on the fence, definitely go for it-you won't regret it!

This model has everything we wanted - three shelves, lots of room for pots and pans and odd items. Easy adjustability. It doesnt try plastic storage ware as good as I would like but I ca live with that. But why does everything have to be wifi connected? To access the unique setting and to adjust any setting on the dishwasher you have to an app connect to it.via your phone? Why? Why not build it without wifi and an app?

I didn't need a new dishwasher but an opportunity came about so I went for it. I heard Bosch is the best on the market, can't say I agree. Used it twice without a rinse Aid and dishes weren't dry! Watched a YouTube video and it said to make sure to put it in to help dry dishes, I did and it did dry but shouldn't have to do that. The App has been difficult. Maybe it's all me but really not that happy with it. It's mine now so I have to deal with it. I appreciate the red light up button indicator for the floor to show when it's on. It's taking me awhile to reconfigure how to put dishes in- doesn't seem to fit what I used to be able to get in with my old one. Appliences are no fun.

We bought this for its cleaning ability, quiet operation, 3rd rack, no-look controal panel, and reputation. We have used it for more than 1 year and it is VERY quiet, and as our first 3rd rack, we are still estatic. The WiFi and app make things like refilling the rinse aid easy. This unit was said to dry plastic pretty well and it does!

Bought a Bosch for the first time since I've heard nothing but good things about them. I am Very disappointed. Dishes do not come clean the best and they hardly dry either. I run every cycle on Heavy duty and extra dry to complete any of this and still have some left on food and lots of water. My previous dishwasher didn't do this at all! I would NOT recommend at all!! And I will never buy a Bosch again. Not worth the money! I've had several different brands over the years from moving and such and this one is the worst.

I ordered this dw because of Bosch's reputation for quiet dishwashers. Received the dishwasher and it was hitting 55db plus during the wash cycle (300 series indicates it will be 46db). Someone came out to look at it after two months of emailing and said it wasn't quite level but they leveled it. Didn't stay into the wash cycle, which I measured back into the mid 50s. Nobody responded to my subsequent emails. The quiet performance is the only reason I paid this amount of money for a Bosch. I won't recommend them and won't purchase again.

Only had for a couple months, but it's been fantastic so far! The loading pattern seems to fit more than our prior dishwasher, and all the cycle options have been great. App is working well. My only very minor complaint is that there is no basket for straws on either top rack so we can wash our water bottle parts without them melting on the bottom rack!

What an improvement over our previous dishwasher

we purchased this Bosch after our Whirlpool went down. We never thought the whirlpool cleaned the dishes and utensils thoroughly. Many times we would need to do a manual clean up after the cycle. We are 100% no 110% happy with this Bosch. Thoroughly cleans everything. The test was last night when we had some baked on crud on two baking dishes. Came out totally clean. We luv the utensil drawer. It makes it very easy to put things away. It is ultra quiet which is another big plus.

We had our Kenmore Elite dishwasher for over 12 years, and when it recently died everyone told us to get a Bosch because they are the best brand. We have not been happy with it at all. It is hard to put all the dishes, serving bowls, and pots in with the way the racks are set up, so it doesn't hold very much. We do not like using the small third rack at the top for silverware. It stays too wet and the silverware is all spotty, but the silverware holder on the bottom rack is so small and in the way of the dishes. The dishwasher does not dry the dishes very much either, so we have to do a lot of towel drying. We did start using a rinse aid but it doesn't help much and the rinse aid holder was leaking when I poured it in. Overall we are not happy with this dishwasher.

Ok clean on the dishes but about impossible to load. Racks are bad design with too many vertical supports- no room. Racks don't slide in and out well. Dishes are not fitting well. Best part- dishes are still wet when I unload in the morning after running it after dinner. What a mess! In my new built house and I don't want it! Terrible product. Who doesn't want their dishes washed and dried- feature not available.

Just purchased this Bosch dishwasher to replace my old dishwasher. The unit cleans very well and is quiet while running. The only feature I miss is having a green ready light come on when the dishwasher is finished and the dishes are clean.The unit has a red light to tell you it is running, but no indicator to tell you when it has finished and the dishes are clean and waiting to be put away.

Disappointing Dishwasher

Had a Siemens dishwasher for 15 years. Thought we were getting the same by buying a Bosch. The dishes are clean but otherwise it's been disappointing. Loading the machine is a STRUGGLE. The Siemens had tynes on the top and bottom racks that would fold down and allowed and amazing amount of functionality. The Bosch is so rigid and set in its ways. The third rack is really not useful and just takes up space. Bring back the Siemens design from 2008. The controls are not at all intuitive either. Also the door is super stiff and requires a fair amount of strength to open.

We had a Bosch for 25 years since they first came out. We are hoping this will be as quiet and well built as that one. Only comment on this one are the sensitivity feedback of the controls and the wash rinse needs a visual indicator. Otherwise it is well made and attractively designed.

We recently "retired" our 20 year old Bosch dishwasher and purchased/installed a brand new 300 series machine. In a word, our new dishwasher is simply fantastic!! As dedicated Bosch appliance owners, we weren't surprised by how clean our dishes were after any particular load, but what was most impressive was how quiet this machine is!! It is indeed helpful (and ingenious) that our dishwasher has the InfoLight system (shining a small red light onto the floor while the washer is running) because you might very easily not hear that it's running!! If you're considering a new dishwasher, look no further than Bosch!

WHEN we first pushed the on button it went to normal cycle and it didn't let us change it to auto. so we had to do it in normal why. Plus the utensils in the top drawer were all wet, why. We had an other bosch for 13 years with out any problem and now we have two in the first day we used the dishwasher...

New Dishwasher

This was my first new dishwasher since the house I moved into still had a working dishwasher built/installed in 1986. So while it's of COURSE much better than the 1986 one, I also love the options it offers, especially the third rack. I do wish I could lower the third rack so I could but slightly bigger items on it, but it's nice to have another rack for a ton more smaller items.

This is the second Bosch dishwasher that we have purchased. The diswasher is quiet and gets our dishes clean. It has more loading capacity than our previous one. We like the addition of the upper tray for utensils.

Updates Make It Less Useful

Our 15 year old Bosch needed replacing. This model is not a step up from our old model. Pros: quiet, cleans well. Cons: cutlery drawer decreases space on top shelf, making wine glasses impossible to load, idiotic wine glass holders fold down, so can't load smaller glasses there before adding stemware, inefficient redesign for stacking dishes, worse drying of plastics. If you have an older model, be aware of these changes that make life harder (???Gees, why Bosch, why??) The 500 series that dries plastic may be a better choice if that's important to you. Otherwise, fewer dishes fit in making for more handwashing. Ugh....

Our New Bosch 300

We are extremely pleased with our new Bosch dishwasher that we've been using for nearly two months. The dishes come out clean as one would expect, even when they sit in the unit for a day. The dishwasher runs much quieter than our previous unit. We find the third rack on the top is at a convenient height for loading and unloading utensils. With the use of the recommended rinse solution, the dishes are dry when we unload the dishwasher in the morning even without a heating element. Some plastic storage containers may require a few extra minutes on the kitchen counter before they are completely dry, but that is no different than our previous unit.

We bought this to replace our 14 gear old Bosch. We were very happy with the old one and like this one just as much. I'm so glad we got the third rack. It makes a big difference in the number of dishes the machine holds. I'm very happy with this purchase.
