So far so good. Have used for 2 months now; ducted to the outside and the 300 CFM is adequate. There are three speeds to the fan and we use the highest the most. Will caution that my contractor was surprised the opening to duct out was higher than he anticipated; mentioning this for anyone doing a remodel to ensure their contractor understands this before closing up walls in case any framing needs to be adjusted. We are happy with our purchase.

Light too bright and disappointing repair

The light is very bright and not dimmable. less than a year after purchasing the fan would not turn off. Despite explaining on phone in detail as to the problem the repair guy did not come prepared. Unfortunately they dont remove the cover so I had to hire someone - are you kidding me? On a second visit it was fixed but again they would not reassemble.

300 Series Vent Hood

The vent hood looks great, works great (the two lights light up the cooktop surface perfectly) and was easy to install. Because of our back wall not going to the ceiling, the extending and the adjustable portion of the hood allows the vent to work well at the desired height. The attached photo (with flash) makes the hood a different shade but it is indeed a perfect stainless steel.

Third time in 3 years fan is stuck on 24/7

I have had major issues with my hood that was purchased in 2021. There have been multiple times that the fan will stay stuck on even while the display shows its off and pressing buttons does nothing. The only way to stop it is to kill power to the fan. It will stay in this state and then randomly it will stop. When its not running 24/7 sometimes the fan will only turn low and medium and never reach high. First time this occured was in the warrenty peroid and the tech had to replace the control board and it fixed it for about 4 months. Second time it was out of warrenty and the tech charged $100 to come and tell me the board was bad about and it was going to be another $150 for the part which was sold out and needed months for delivery and another $100 for the install. It started working a few weeks later and now its back to running 24/7. Replacement boards have been sold out for almost 3 years and there are lots of reviews outside this side that others have this same issue. Looking to replace this with a different option since these control boards seem like they are really prone to issues and then the hood is dead. When it works its fine, the airflow id just enough for light steam removal - upgrade to the 500 series if you want to remove odors and heavy steam,
